Funeral in Aden city becomes a demonstration calls for separation

Today Jan 23, 2011 in Crater , the security force dispersed demonstration after funeral of "Najib Abdul Sattar" who was killed following a clash in the long earlier at the fires of security force.

Demonstrators who roamed the streets of the city after they prayed at Al-Huda mosque which is located in Al-Tawilea area this afternoon then the funeral procession headed to Aidaroos cemetery.

Witnesses confirmed that the funeral procession was divided into two parts the first headed towards the cemetery for the burial of the deceased and the other headed towards the city's streets and tours of the Crater district in order to demonstrate and condemn his murder, chanting slogans enthusiastic and repeat southern movement slogans and reclaims the former State of the South.

the witnesses said that chants demanding the exit of all people who belongs to northern provinces from South, and Aden especially. waving the flags of the previous State of the South Arabic.

Reports that comes from Directorate of Sirah; the demonstrators clashed with security forces after some of them did beat people from North provinces were present at the round square in Crater district.

Witnesses said the security forces deployed in the city and dispersed the demonstrators by using live bullets and tear gas after they settled in Al-Maidaan round for few minutes, pointing out that the entrance to the crater district have been closed in anticipation of any armed confrontations with the demonstrators.

It also said by witnesses that Clashes with security Forces left casualties among the demonstrators by choking tear gas.

On the other hand, a number of Southern Movement advocates and supports in quarters of Al-Saadah, Al-Salam, Al-Ahmadhi, Al-Arish and Abood in Khor-Makser district burning tires as an expression of protest to the killing of engineering collage student names is "Louay Bagim" in clashes between Southern movement advocates and supporters and security forces.

Several areas of Aden city since last Tuesday Jan 18, 2011 living under pressure and protests and demonstrations demands for the same demands of Southern Movement advocates and supporters since the official launch of southern movement in 2007.
